I think there should be some mention here or elsewhere that the distance attenuation only works for mono audio. I guess this makes sense when you think about it, but it's an easy mistake to make and difficult to solve.
How-to Guide
I think a simple snippet example to manipulate source positions can be helpful. For the content of the example, I am suggesting configuring left and right positions.
Placing it in the setPosition page would be nice.
