Hello fellow coders! I posted about this game a long time ago, before it even had a name. Fast forward a few months and the game is getting close to release. There are still a bunch of things on the to-do-list, but I thought you guys might want to see the progress :)

I show the new upgrade store, and demonstrate the in-game shop where you can purchase power-ups with crystals (you gain 1 each level, in addition they can spawn as power ups). I also show of a few of the new enemies (there are still a few others that are not covered in this video) and some special levels such as the darkness map at level 6.

The visuals have also received a full overhaul (and some nice visual eyecandy such as the astronaut looking at the spaceship), and more improvements are to come!

PS, i forgott to turn on "record cursor" in my recording program, so its not visible in the menu. But it should still be watchable ;)

EDIT: Looking for people to test out the game to help find bugs and such. Post your computer speccs and I will send you a PM. The only requirement that I am aware of is that you need a gfx card that is able to run shaders.

EDIT2: The game is nearing its launch (should be out within 2 weeks) and in an effort to promote the game several game reviewers have gotten a free copy to review. Heres the first one that has come out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZoGIzoo1Pg

Looks awesome. Very much polished.

One small suggestion: In the options menu, where you can select the color of the beam, why not show the beam color, instead of writing it. A colored image is easier to comprehend than a text saying the color.

And one question: What is the challenge of the game? How do you lose?

Making a visual representation for the color is the plan, the text is placeholder meanwhile :).

As for the lose condition of the game;
If a ball hits your lazer before it becomes solid (connected to two walls) it will break and you take 1 dmg. You can see the healthbar on the right side (the green container). In the end of the video I die on purpose to demonstrate the death effect etc.

Wow, very atmospheric! The Music fits perfectly and i like the guy in the sofa!

I would choose better menu fonts. The current ones do not fit with the rest of the graphics. The ingame font fits good.
