You don't hold down the keys, you press W for example, then the character goes to the platform beside him to the right, after about a second you can press it again.

Nice. A few comments:
  1. Why use _G["keys"], _G["players"] etc. when you could just use keys, players etc.?
  2. You might want to remove line 8 in GuiddyMain.lua ;) it's a bit odd...
  3. For the fourth player, it is not clear they must use left and right, and not < and >.
  4. Inside the game, there is no explanation. That's a shame, because it makes the game confusing.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll think of it when I make a new game. Although, some of those points are very easy to fix, I'll explain them:

Comment #2. Guiddy is my own GUI and is not completely finished yet, that line was for testing when setting key repeat wasn't working.

Comment #3. I couldn't fit it into the key box :ehem:

Comment #4. Does your game have any in-game explanation? Most probably not :P

Anyone else planning to submit soon?

Great job, Kal! You did a great job! And dont worry about the feedback, it is bound to happen, this is, of course, supposed to be rapid prototyping! Just make sure your comments are constructive, so we can all learn from our little mistakes. Cant wait to see what the rest of you dream up :)

Great. ;)

Seems nice. I'm looking to seeing it released.

Might be true, but they should. Especially a game as unintuitive* as yours.

Not me. Bartbes and I are stuck in the "ok, i lost interest" phase. ;)

I can control the game now :P, but I got you some new problems. First, the blue one leaves the screen to the left at the start, and second, I see nothing happening when the timer runs out.

Little bug because me being lazy... :ehem:
Nothing happens because the blue is still moving, and the blue is still moving because your FPS is too low (I made it check if it was a close to the target location, not past it...). I can always hope the other entries are worse... :joker:

If anyone (including bartbes) got the bug that the character goes off screen, they can download the a new version here:

I kept the old one in case this is against the rules of this contest ;)
