Alrighty, voting time! The topic, if you did not know, was CHANCE, and now we must vote on which was the best, coolest, funnest, chanciest game! The poll can be seen on this post, but just in case you are too lazy, here are the choices, in the order they were posted:
Earthquake Miners
Roshambo
Rock|Paper|Scissors
Password Cracker
4 Entries!??! Great job, everyone! For a first contest, I think this was a great turnout, and allowed us to share experience, and more importantly, show off a bit of our skills
I am sorry I wasn't able to enter, but luckily, this is officially going to be a monthly contest! Yes, I said it, MONTHLY! So get your coding fingers ready for next contest, which will be featured on a separate post of course.
Anyway, as I said previously vote for the one you think deserves it, not the one that you made
Once again, great job everyone!

P.S. The poll will be closed in 10 days, so move swiftly!

Re: LOVEFEST 12/09
Sounds nice...
You might want to specify a submission format: in the post with their .love, they should state name of project, project member(s?), LÖVE version required, etc.
That way "parsing" the entries would be easier.

Ok guys, it would be awesome if you could tell me if you will be joining! You don't have to, but I would like to know that this wont just burn out, or I would cry

Depending on the subject I will do 'something', I can't guarantee you there will be something useful coming from me.

Same here (although it also has to do with my time being in short supply)bartbes wrote:Depending on the subject I will do 'something', I can't guarantee you there will be something useful coming from me.

Re: LOVEFEST 12/09
Great! I don't expect the biggest turnout for the first one because of the Christmas season, school midterms/finals, and just because it's new. I am glad you guys will give it a shot, it'll be fun!
P.S. Only 23 hours left!

Re: LOVEFEST 12/09
Ok, I've never done something similar, but I'd be interested.
So how do we propose a subject for the first lovefest? Should we use this thread for that?

When I write def I mean function.

Re: LOVEFEST 12/09
I think because of the nature of this contest, Nic will choose a subject without allowing proposals, because that would defeat the purpose of "not knowing what the subject is beforehand so everyone has the same time to write a game".kikito wrote:So how do we propose a subject for the first lovefest?
