There was indeed an issue with 0.40 that was resolved a month ago. Try the current version from Github and it should not have that issue. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Ok. I'll give that a shot when I get home! I'd like to use something that has some LÖVE api integrations, though I am getting by with my ole BBedit/Batch file combo.

@3CordGuy, there were also several recent fixes/improvements specifically for OSX, which reduced the CPU utilization when idle and fixed couple of issues with tooltips; you may want to check the latest version, if you haven't already.
