So, I have been filming the basic tutorials for a while ( http://youtube.com/sockmunkeedevelopmen ). And there are still plenty more to come, but I have started the advanced tutorials which cover more specific topics, such as, Camera movement, Animations, etc.

NEW ONE!:D Camera Movement!

If you have any topics you want to be covered, just tell me and if I understand the topic well enough, I will film it. gage@sockmunkee.com

Your stuff is awesome and totally recommended to anyone starting out. But lol, you should clean up your desktop. I suggest making a separate user account just for filming that has nothing on the desktop except the working sample from the video.

Yes. Networking would be a tutorial I would love to see. Start simple and work your way up. Maybe also add in talk about downloading files from servers. Basically DLC and online/local multiplayer.

Fellow SublimeText2 user here - you can very easily setup a "build system" for love so you no longer would need to create a .love and drag it onto the executable.

Something along the lines of

Code: Select all

{
    "cmd": ["/Applications/love.app/Contents/MacOS/love", "$file_path"]
}
Save that into a file in your packages directory called love.sublime-build and now you can use super+b to execute the love binary with your current working dir as the target. Saves a TON of time!
