Hello,
I have some problems running .love files, when I press the download link and press open directly with "love" the program runs fine. However when I first download the file without opening it directly, the program won't start when I double click it. Hope this made atleast some sense.

File associations might be wrong, could you tell us what OS you are using?

That's odd, I have Windows Vista Home Premium too, but I have no problems what so ever...

Okay, when you are in explorer, you should be able to enter the properties for folders (the general thing, not for the current one), there should be a tab there for file associations, in that list you should be able to find the LÖVE file type, either by the name of LÖVE or by the extension of .love, make sure it is set to launch the love.exe. I'm sorry I don't know the exact location of some of the options, but it's been a while since I've been there, and I can only provide the Dutch XP instructions for that from the top of my head

I have checked and it is set to launch love.exe, and I have tried to reinstall love with no luck.
When you install love do you have to be in admin mode?

I know the problem!!
It's because of the file path, if it contains some unknown characters, such as å, ä and ö the game won't start.
Try moving the .love file to C:/ and try again, should work

PhysFS (used by love.filesystem) 2.0 supposedly fixes this problem. The current 0.6.0 Windows snapshot builds do not use PhysFS 2.0, but will fix that before release.
Anjo: which PhysFS did you use for the MacOSX binaries?
Linux users are at the mercy of their package manager, as usual.
