IOS Gamepad

Hi,
I'm trying to get wireless gamepad working on iOS, but it doesn't seem to work out of the box.
I have added the necessary setting in Info.plist file, and activated Game Controllers in Signing & Capabilities. love2d is not picking them up. I am also loading game pad mappings file with iOS controllers added in.
Has anyone got this to work, and can help me out with what I'm missing?
