Developer Cannot Be Identified macOS Catalina

When I try to run love on macOS Catalina, I get the error

“love” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

In my settings, "Allow Apps Downloaded from:" is set to anywhere.

Try right/control clicking the love app and click the Open option in the popup dialog. The Unverified developer popup should show an additional "Open" option which you can press. Subsequent use of the love app won't need that step after it's done once.
