Phi Brain is an anime that has a lot of puzzles that are just waiting to be incarnated as games. And this one is my favorite.
Please Note: The latest update will be on my most recent comments.

I love this ! Didn't know about Phi Brain but I like the idea. The game feels smooth too. With multiplayer this would be a great game to kill time with.

Thanks! The "smooth feeling" is what I'm after. Be careful about the 4-player game though. There's a path-finding problem that I don't know how to implement. 3 players can collude and trap in someone in 2 squares. It's supposed to be a "Pass".
For anyone curious, it's episode 31-34 of the Anime. Episode 31 is the easiest one to follow.

Since I'm mostly a lonely player, I implemented random-moving AI.

I managed to overhaul this project, and I'm relatively happy with these improvements:
- Before, you can get stuck in positions like these. Now, you can "Skip" your turn.

- The AI improved a bit; it still makes random decisions, but now it knows how to actually complete its turn.
- The Tutorial has also improved (and I believe it's complete), but I need feedback on how I implemented it.
Below is the love file.
