Yay! It's done!(The UI Sucks!)
You are steve, killing 2d minecraft zombies. Pretty basic, but I have a lot of ideas in store for the future.
You can see the controls in the options menu(You can change them too!:D)
I noticed I froze 0.5/10 times, when the audio was turning down. I'm not sure why that is, but if I can find out, i will be sure to upload the updated .love!:D

Plans for the future!:
  • Slam The Ground attack thingy(if you get hit by a zombie, and fly offscreen, you can slam the ground beneath you!:D)
    way better GUI
    New Guns.
    Something that changes when you upgrade damage.
    An ACTUAL BACKGROUND.
    Multiplayer
    Bosses
    Maybe, have the zombies drop power-ups.

Some stuff I found:

-You can mid-air jump when hit by a zombie.
-Occasionally, when doing said jump you fly upwards out of the screen bounds.
-Zombies sometimes spawn beneath you thus unavoidably hitting the player.
-Bullets disappear before fully leaving the screen.
-It is possible to chase the bullets for some time, perhaps a tiny increase in their speed will make it look better. (in my opinion)

The only other criticism I have is that you could add some platforms so the maps aren't flat. It's like a 'superflat' world :)

Everything else seems in order, I had no problems playing and it ran smoothly enough. You should build on this :nyu:

Congratulations, you made your old minecraft zombie thing let's say playable.

So does Mediafire count as a Jam website?
Rules you must abide by:
Submission must be a complete project packaged as a .love uploaded and hosted on the Jam website.

Nothing changes. The rule still turns eventually turns baconhawk7x inscription as "illegal". "love uploaded and hosted on the Jam website". However in his submission page has instead a link to mediafire and not uploaded or hosted on the jam website. Well I have no interest in someone possible disqualification, just warning of a possible flawed point in rules.

EDITED: The fact that his game screenshots are not showing could mean that server could have also some upload problem.

I'm sorry, But this isn't even playable. Are you using dt right? Cause everything moves really fast for me... Not like in the trailer. The dude jumps so high he flies off the screen. Zombies move at near light speed, And bullets mover really slow..And i think they get despawned while still on screen.. The GUI has problems too, For example when you hit the about button ,the help and options buttons don't disappear and cover some of the text. Also the reason why you can't attach it is the size, I think the max is 10 mb. I imagine that's due to the music.

For some pro's, I like the idea of the game and Great choice of music, There's nothing like killing some zombies to some dubstep :D

Best bug for me till now was the one after I changed keys. Starting that moment "steeviee" becames a ghost (invisible and untouchable) that would be fun If I could also fire! And oh, this was (still) "made with Love2d". And the "don't sue" joke thing after Mari0 one is a bit wasted right?

haha...WOW. hahaXD I only have a excuse for 1 of those bugs. When you get hit by a zombie, I let the player still be able to jump, because it was hard as crap if you couldn't(Plus, I'm thinking about adding some super slam attack thingy if you are going fast enough downward). And I tried to upload the .love here. But It would upload to about 25% and then give me an error;p

yea, the GUI really sucks facemunch. And I just checked again and I am using dt? Also I didn't know that the bullets getting despawned onscreen would be such a burden hahaXD I just fixed it, along with the "inevitably getting hurt because they spawn under yo' taint". Also, they dissapear when I go to the about menu? Hmm. I'll look into that.
