In this post, I came across the fact that if a canvas is created with layers, then when setCanvas() is called on it, an index number is expected.
This was confusing initially because such functionality is not documented on the Wiki page for setCanvas(). Is this a mistake?
A valid parameter set for setCanvas() isn't documented?

It's not a mistake, it's just work that hasn't been done yet.
