Seems really cool! Reminds me of another sort of shape game that came out recently, can't remember what it was called but I remember The WarOwl playing it. Only part I didn't get about this game was how to "match the beat".

So I was playing easy and then after the beats started coming in my game started lagging immensely and then kinda stopped at 0 FPS. Screenshot

EDIT: By beats coming in, I mean the small circles approaching the shape.

Oh, indeed. Super Hexagon. One of my favorite games of all time!
DOS is heavily inspired by this game, although Super Hexagon has no rhythm mechanic really.

This game is awesome!

Some progress this week, I've been working mostly on the networking part of the game.
Played around with Luvit, it's a really nice little framework.
Also wrote wapi to help me out for API calls.

I've set up a server and a simple scoring system for all your competition needs
