I am new here. I am interested in making online games.

Please define "online games"? Do you mean "can play in browser"? Or do you mean "Can allow playing with multiple players via the internet"?

You could do all in Love2d, but the first might be easier with a tool that's designed to make games with html5/canvas.
If you want the second, I would postpone that idea until you have more experience, because networking-based games are hard.

I really want an engine that is cross platform. Since we will publish on android too. Anyway what would be a suggestion for html5 game engine?

Circumventing lag is the hard part, networking itself boils down to properly using adequate library.

I mean like in game maker where you can make a folder of all your assets and javascripts to be put in your site.

So you want a list of games which have an online multiplayer mode?
There aren't that many which I know of (as mentioned in the other post, multiplayer is much, much more difficult to pull off than single player).
I've tried it a few times, and GridCars is the result of one of these tries.
TrAInsported is also sort of multiplayer, although not in the classical sense (you don't interact directly with the other players).

There was also an online multiplayer strategy game, made with löve, "Netwars" by borg; but that wasn't updated after 0.9.

I have two multiplayer games: Dracul64 and Xapalus Deluxe!
