"Home" button does not work?

I check in love.keyreleased() for key == "home" to stop some game stuff, but it doesn't seem to register? The "escape" (back button) works though. I'm talking about the physical buttons, sometimes part of the GUI.

I think some key / key combinations are "hijacked" by Android and not passed to SDL2, so if I'm right there's not much that can be done about it.

hm... do you know any other way to stop the background music when the user exits?
