Just a fun little thing I've made, I'm challenging myself to make something every week, and here's this week's item.
Position the mouse inside the squares before the outer square touches it.
Feedback is always appreciated
*EDIT*
New Version - Fullscreen toggle-able.

Starting it in the monitors native resolution and not in fullscreen is annoying. So is starting it in fullscreen. Maybe go with a lower default resolution, I'd usually go with 1280x720. The game has very minimal mechanics, And the aesthetic isn't very impressive. I feel that if you're gonna have minimal mechanics, you should try to make up for it with the presentation. You could do some simple things to improve it, I'm not crazy about the colors, perhaps a black background and blue squares would look a bit better, The color of the text clashes with the background color a bit. You could add some more animation to the squares, maybe have their color change as the time runs out, and change to a different color if the mouse is on them etc. You could also make the "hud" more interesting than just a bit of text. You could also figure out how to save and load the high score so it's not reset between sessions.
