I totally overhauled a game I made last winter break, and this is the result!
The game is available over at https://github.com/simeon/Drazzard and I would really appreciate it if you could star the project while you're over there!

And I agree, it's definitely more of a time-waster than anything else, there is no end goal to the game aside from survival.

Yeah this has the potential to be something very cool. I love the style and feel already.

Suggestions:
bg music (even if it's just a simple loop)
footstep sounds

In-game instructions. I know it might seem like they're unnecessary but it'll help push your players further into the game instead of having them bounce off.

I imagine more enemies and stages will follow. Also, I wasn't able to find the shop?

The shop is accessible via the escape key.
And to the gameplay, woah! Thanks for the kind words everyone, it definitely is encouraging for progressing toward a reworked and ultimately better version of the game!
