For a while now we have been working on something very exciting together with Intel, namely full 2in1 computer support for
Luminosity. Apart from being able to seamlessly swap between laptop and tablet mode, we have been working on a local multiplayer mode; Making you able to play the game like a boardgame, face to face with your opponent.
This is what I will be talking about, 2in1 computers and indie games and our experience working with it.
If you are around Stockholm, Sweden the 17th of July, you should consider dropping by;

Do you know whether it will be recorded or streamed?
I'd love to be able to just pop by, but I haven't bought my teleporter yet.

Jeeper I have a non related question but are you going to make a post mortem of the game like a lot of indie devs do?
Edit: Autocorrect is a pain in the ass.

Like above have said, Sweden is a bit out of my range of travel
Very cool sounding what you've been doing! I'd love to hear about it!
If possible could you at least throw up a Power Point or something of that nature that you'll be using as an aid?

If it will be streamed or recorded ill post a link, might have someone record it otherwise.

It has been my intention to do so for a while, I will most likely make one in the near future.

Good talk! Just a quick thought: couldn't you make the local multiplayer board stay the same size and just have different buttons on the sides, rotated for each person's view?
Also, instead of buttons, I think it might be easier to do gestures, for instance rotating with two fingers would rotate the ship in the direction you turn, double tapping around the same spot would shoot, etc. Just some suggestions.

We have actually done that (unless we are not understanding each other). I will post a video with some gameplay in a few days

This is something that I have experimented with, but I could never get away from it taking about 0.25-0.5 seconds longer for the player to be able to do the desired action. Something that is quite detrimental in Luminosity, a game that is a lot about timing. Another issue was that you sometimes accidentally shot when trying to move the ship around.
If you have a 2in1/AiO or a computer with touch, (this goes for anyone else on the forums as well) feel free to message me and I can send you a steam key with beta access.
Thank you for the feedback!
