I post a while ago about a game I'm working on called Plazma, however the game idea(and name) have changed quite a bit. The object is to use your steam cannon and ramming powers to knock the other player off the map to gain points. You will be able to gather powerups/nerfs(to cast on enemy) which allow you to have more steam power, move faster, etc. the nerfs can decrease enemy steam power, increase there mass, increase friction, decrease friction/damping(like oil slick), etc. You will also be able to pick up special weapons such as a wrecking ball and chain, tractor beam, and more(still in development, lets see what happens). You can also customize your robot with 4 different panels to choose from and 4 different locations for the panels which can be configured in "Edit Your Robot".

Anyway, so far I've got the basics implemented. However environment isn't implemented fully so isn't shown. Here's a quick youtube video of me playing against myself(so lonely..), also the background is temporary.

A better demo is yet to come. I'm currently implementing a destructable environment with map editor, as well as 4-player(not just 2 player). The GUI sucks right now, but thats not really a big concern. Most of my effort is going into the gameplay aspect right now, glitter comes last. I'm also touching up the particle system so it looks less monotonous.

Any feed back is greatly appreciated.

Games planned for beta mid-late summer, and release in late fall early winter this year. Game will be free however closed source, with micro-transactions for new maps(possibly).

Everything sounds cool, and looks like its running well, and all that, but I have to say: the art style is a little too cluttered for me. You have SUPERDETAILED art onto of SUPERDETAILED art with holes in it, so you don't know when one SUPERDETAILED art ends and the other begins. Maybe it's just me, but I'd keep that in mind.

A lot of people say this, but you have to consider the background is only a place holder. Also a lot of art will be changed. I realize that the foreground and background don't contrast and that makes it a bit hard to see whats going on. The new background will be much more simple and more contrasting.
