Just keep in mind that Löve was designed for 2D. If you want to do something more complicated in 3D, Löve is probably not the right tool for the job.

Bobby you should totally mention than there is no real API just yet, Karai and Shakesoda will work on it but it is still very early in development, so the only ones that can use it and get something playable with it are those two hahaha... so yeah if you want 3D you probably should look somewhere else, otherwise just stay with 2D...

PS: LÖVE will never support 3D officially, yet the LÖVE 3D library pointed above (which currently uses a hacked version of LÖVE 0.9.2) will be usable in LÖVE 0.10.0 (an unreleased version of LÖVE) without any hack!
