Valdmor0.1

Valdmor is a top-down game,
it aims to mix shoot'em up and top-down gameplay.
you control the character with z,q,s,d, space and lshift
you aim with the mouse

Here is the 0.1, enjoy !

I didn't really get the point (or feel) of jumping. Evading enemy shots perhaps?

Non-AZERTY keyboard setups will make controlling this game a bad experience. You can edit character/character.lua (line 107 ff.) to change keyboard settings.

actually the jump is not very useful yet except for the second arrowslit, it's allow you to go faster.
sorry for non-azerty keyboard, it will be fixed in 0.2

the fourth level is more a puzzle than a skill level.
find the right path and then it is easy.

thank you for playing it, the 0.2 will have a true curve of difficulty.

I just wanted to add that I enjoyed the stress the spiders gave and the shortness of the levels (making failure not so bad) and the colorfulness (I'm being manipulated by Sequelitis :)

As for AZERTY, I'm sorry if I sounded like an annoying complainer. I think it's only fair if one creates games for the keyboard layout of their own locale and that it's just sad there is no unique standard. I live in Germany and QWERTZ is annoying* (z and y are swapped) - I can only imagine how frustrating it must be living in a AZERTY country while most software is designed for QWERTY by default :|

ok, qwerty by default and switchable in the setting menu.

I hope it didn't make some bug...

The game freezes a lot for me. But other than that its a pretty nice game
