NOTE: I know Crunchbang's development has ceased, however at this current moment I have work that is yet to be backed up. So until I get get around doing that I can't jump to another distro

Hello all,
I was wondering if there are any of you in the community that has some experience installing Love 0.9.2 on CrunchBang. I've tried installing the dependicies from backports (SDL2 as well others) and then tried installing all 3 deb files via dpkg. However, the program doesn't seem to run. I regret to say that I can't provide the error messages as I did this about a week ago and haven't touched it since. Currently using love 0.8.0 because it works.

I'd be greatful if you could provide a step-by-step for me to follow.

Many thanks

I have installed it myself but havent tested it yet, the process was:

Update libc6 to a version post 2.15 (I had to add the debian sid repository)
Download and install the packages for love... and that was it... (though I still have the sid repo in there so maybe that was the key)

Which repo did you get love from?

Hello, sorry for being this late to make a response; I did the same thing as you in that I update the libc6 from sif yet when I try to install Love2D afterwards, I still get an error. Do you mind posting a step by step as to what exactly you did?
