Hello all! I'm working on creating a classic NES/SNES style RPG. Using Love and Lua. The art is OpenGameart stuff. Here are some art, and a video-

Looking good!

Edit your YouTube link to only include the video PID (Ktj_USl4pqs) not the whole URL.

Super cool. Any ideas for the combat system yet?

Jasoco- Thank you for the tip, it's fixed!

And thank you guys for the compliments- it's been about awhile in the making! But the pieces are finally coming together enough to do this.

The combat right now is Dragon Warrior/Wizardry. Happening randomly, first person perspective. I only have placeholder art for that right now, so I didn't add that to the video. It won't be active time battle, or chess-style...but there will be strategies and etc.

Here's a still of the combat engine. Tomorrow sometime there will be a short video up showing it off.

Awesome work there, retropower! Thanks for the extra inspiration, from just sharing your work and what you were able to do. :D

I'll definitely have to sit and take a look at the Greentea library you made.

So. I had no internet for about 2 weeks or so. Now I'm back with a demo. Check this out. Complete gameplay and all. Not doing the patreon anymore (have a full time dayjob now that would make having a set schedule difficult), but I'll keep doing this in the meantime.
