Hello folks,
let me introduce you to my second game: Bomb Dodgers. It was inspired by the old Bomberman / Wario Blast games I had for my gameboy back in the day.

Re: Bomb Dodgers
Nice game! I like the music and graphics.
An instructions screen would be nice, as I was clueless. Nailed the gameboy feel!
Also, can menus also work with return? Spacebar feels weird for me.

Re: Bomb Dodgers
Thanks It is the first time I've been doing art - that's why I picked the 'simple' gameboy palette.davisdude wrote:Nice game! I like the music and graphics.

I added "return" and "wasd" as alternative controls, but I'm not sure what I should put on the instructions screen. Just the controls? Or also information about the upgrades, levels, enemies, etc...?
Re: Bomb Dodgers
Maybe just an option on the menu that says "How to play" or something.
And as for what to put on it:
- Controls
- Objective
- How to win (could be put in objective)

Re: Bomb Dodgers
Good game. I like classic style, well done!
Re: Bomb Dodgers
Thanks for the input. I didn't implement it in the current release, but maybe in a future update (read as: the next game ).davisdude wrote:Maybe just an option on the menu that says "How to play" or something.

Re: Bomb Dodgers (NOW ON ITCH.IO)
Uploaded a new version to itch.io which fixes a (quite serious and stupid) bug.
