Hello everyone, so i found out that gddr5 is faster then gddr3 because the bandwith size. but i found this really nice graphics card and it has 384 bits, which has more bits then 400$+ cards. but its gddr3? so i was curious if the number of bits compensates for the gddr3. cause i wanna buy 2 and sli them.

and this is the one i have right now.

so obviously 2 gpus of tmart wud be better then the one i have. but is it worth it ?

Don't buy that card, it's a fake. And even if it worked, you'd be limited by the DDR3 memory type. For GPUs always go for DDR5+ (source see 5th post)

BTW, why are you posting this here ?

256 bits is more than enough for most graphics cards right now.

Running two GPUs requires both GPU to be the same, löve and some games don't support running two GPUs which is called SLI when they are from Nvidia and CrossfireX when the GPUs are from AMD.

If I was you I would wait because the next generation of GPUs are coming soon and the Nvidia 700 series and the R9 series will be super cheap then.

There you can check how good a graphic card is.

I think you should take the DDR5, there is something wrong with the DDR3, too cheap for a GTX 650...

And why is this post in the love2d forum?!?
