Yo,
So this is my second Love2d game, wow, it seems like such a long time since I posted BlueBox.love... which i never even did finish... But anyways three days ago i found the old files for a game i never created called coin collector and by George it was atrocious. So i remade it into this cool little arcade collector game called "COIN BOY!".
Heres a screenshot of this action packed fun filled crazilicous ridiculousness that is "COIN BOY!".
Oh, and here is the .love! (Feel free to pick apart the code and yell at me for how unorganized and messy it is )
(Note: Just added score display on game over screen, aswell as random individual coin speeds!)

For those interested in the controls, "A" is left and "D" is right.
The game is interesting. I suggest making the coins fall down slower at first and then speed up as time goes on, sort of like Tetris, if you have ever played that. Also, I would appreciate something like a life meter that decreases when missing a coin and that regenerates over time.
Lastly, you might try adding bonus and penalty items that fall down along with the coins.

Thanks for the reply! I was gonna add a thin where after 20 coins fell down it increased the speed and increased the points you get for them, As for the life bar i never even thought of that! I think i'll get onto doing that! Anyways again, thanks for the reply!
