Camera and sprite sizes

Hi! For the project I'm working on, I have made a 8000x map in Tiled, and when I use it in my game, it works fine! My question is does this have to do with the camera not displaying it all? I'm using a camera class that only shows a few tiles in each direction from the player. Or does this have to do with my graphics card? It is a Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, which I can probably safely say is not that good, so I don't know why that would be the reason.
