Howdy!
I want to create some apps for Android. I've never programed for mobile platforms, but I have experience in general programing, mostly in scientific computations. I hate java as much as it possible, so I will not use it. I know well Fortran, Lisp, C/C++, Pascal, PHP, SQL, JavaScript and few other. I can learn Lua, it's not a problem. I can use kivy (python based), but love2d looks very promising. So my question is: if and when love2d will support programing for Android devices? I saw LÖVE-Android subforum, but it looks too premature. What do you think about comparison between LOVE and Kivy in case of making simple games like chess or checkers? What about features and performance? Or perhaps you can point some another nice and easy tool for making simple games (logic puzzles, no sprites and other fancy things) for Android? I don't like OOP, but as far as I know all libraries/framework are more or less OO. Am I wrong? If yes then correct me.

I forgot, I've tried AppInventor - it's fine, but it doesn't allow to write apps, it allows only for building apps from blocks. This is great but I prefer old-fashioned way of creating apps - with text editor.
