I'm trying to make a sprite appear but every time I do, it tells me that I have an invalid escape sequence near the path i'm trying to use to use my sprite image. I can't even convey thoughts correctly right now; I don't think anything in life has been so frustrating.

Try to replace the backslash "\" by a normal slash "/" in the filename.
