Old Versions?

Hey guys! I'm a newbie at Löve here and i'm making something in Löve – a platformer – since i alreday got some experience at GM. Anyway, a lot of the other programs out there had old versions of their binaries for legacy support, I really liked Love since it supported my comp (with a pretty old TNT2 card) in 0.8 until i installed 0.9 which is a little more beefy at best whn using HW, so it crashed on me. I was hoping if there are copies of a zip verion of 0.8 around, so that i'll fiddle around with it for a little while longer...
I'll still might going to be posting a tad more here (I'm off work now for xmas vacation) and i'm going to be showing my progress about my platformer. Thanks once again!
~CRxTRDude
PS: if some of you would ay that i'll just upgrade my card, i don't have the budget yet and even if the comp is pretty dated, running on Win XP, i'm already satisfied by it (for now)

The official downloads for 0.8.0 (and newer and lower) are all here:

Nice! Thanks a bunch! I was wondering if there would be support for older cards like mine or you guys are going to the HI-Powered HW route?
Anyhow, I really loved this thing, i think i would stick around here for a very while longer
BTW just a suggestion, it would be nice to put the bitbucket link on the main site though ... For some people's sake (Or is it just me) ....
EDIT! Rubber piggy works, but dragdropping a folder to love exe doesn't work, how come? Used the zip. Prior to that though, i installed 0.9 (as i said) I don't know if it broken something or placed registry or ini to the system...
EDIT on second thought, it's my bad. I didn't made changes regarding 0.8's changes from 0.9's (specifically drawq). SORRY GUYS.

The TNT2 only supports DirectX 6 and OpenGL 1.2, apparently. That's below what LÖVE is designed to run on most of the time, but I had actually thought I'd made 0.9.0 more compatible with older GPUs compared to 0.8.0, not less. Regardless, I don't think the next versions will have lower system requirements than 0.9.0 unless the cause of your issues is a bug which affects more modern systems.

Does it crash all the time in 0.9.0 or only in specific circumstances? If you make a completely empty game (empty main.lua file), does it still crash? Maybe we could narrow this down.

Well, when i jsut open love without a file, it crashes, so i think all the time. Tried to run my modified code, it also crashes.

Right, but what about if you make a completely empty game and open that? The no-game screen crashes for you, but does a game which doesn't draw anything or create any graphics resources?

I'll see that, after i'll get my hands on my comp (my dad is using it and i couldn't interrupt him)

@slime: You're right. It works with a blank main.lua... Sorry bout that.

Sorry for reanimating this thread, but slime - could you maybe add a link to the old version to the download section on the main page?
I keep on searching for them - this was the third time I think - and it always takes a while till I end up on the bitbucket site. Just an "older versions" Link on that page would be great.
