Time Controller (WIP title)

I've been working a bit on a concept me and a friend talked about aobut a year ago. I've finally gotten around to start working on it, but it is yet to be playable. The basic concept is; you control a guy in a wheelchair with a mounted rocket launcher on it so that he can jump. He can also control time to go either faster or slower somehow, using this wheelchair. And now you have to control him through several levels to pick up money and become rich so he can buy his dream house.
As mentioned, it's not really playable, but I've attached a screenshot to give you the general feel of the games graphics: This is the tutorial level that focuses on the jumping and rocket mechanincs of the game.
Some technical things
16x16 tiles, scaled up two times in Löve and placed in Tiled
Scientifically inaccurate rocket jumps
If you reach 88mph with the wheelchair... nothing will happen
EDIT: Thought I'd share some more info on how the time controlling works.
You use the A(slower) and D(faster) buttons to change the pace of time, but it only affects the level, not the player. So let's say you slow down time, then platforms will move at a slower pace and you'll be able to get onto that platform with higher precission. It will also give you an edge over enemies, as you can slow them down making it easier to crush them with your wheelchair or setting up traps for them. Speeding up the time however can disorient enemies and make them dizzy for example. Completing levels with fast time also gives you more coins to spend on some upgrades.
