Hello,

I made this game for Ludum Dare 22. It is my first game made using Love2D

Download here: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-da ... w&uid=2085
It was made using:

Programming: Lua + Love2D
Editor: Notepad ++
Music: Chordpulse + Mixcraft
Audio: human voice + Audacity + Mixcraft
Graphics: Paint.net + Gimp
Levels: Tiled Map Editor
Distribution: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2011/12/ ... on-script/

Feedback is welcome.

Best regards

I liked the chuthlu sprite, loved the atmosphere, ambient and the sort of air/jarre music. The engine of the game seems working well but I think it's missing a cool objective or give a fun gameplay to the game. I think you got something here but not well "oriented". I know that the theme of this LD22 is "alone" but what I would expect from Chulthu? Terrorize someone, not see him pushing boulders in his ruins ;)

EDITED: Resuming, for some minutes game is fun but tends to be repetitive after that. In the middle lacked motivation to end it since appears nothing new would appear.

Ah, I played this during the voting period, I played it for quite some time, actually. Sadly, I have to agree with it missing a cool objective, at some point it felt very much just like being lost, which, although perhaps conveying the message, isn't too good from a gameplay perspective.
Still, I think you did a good job, especially considering the time constraint.
