how i make a txt edit control in love2d?

hell every one,I want to make a txt edit control in the love2d,but,I have noidea how to do this..........

can some one give me some idea or demos?

You mean like the address bar in your browser (single line) or like the text field you use to write a post on this forum (multiple lines)?

The first one is reasonably simple, but the second is not.

What do you want to use it for? Once we know the answer to that question, we can help you better.
