Nice demo. By the "rounded" zig-zags, the impulses in the walls, and last second caught avoidance I would say that are more parkour guys running from cops.

Using require without .lua should work in any Lua 5.1+ version and any version of LÖVE. The fact that the .lua part was allowed in LÖVE in the first place was a bug/oversight. :p
I'm regularly seeing people run straight into zombies. In fact, that seems to be pretty much the only way they end up dying. So, no, it doesn't look like they're avoiding much at all.
Earliest Love2D supporter who can't Love anymore. Let me disable pixel shaders if I don't use them, dammit! Lenovo Thinkpad X60 Tablet, built like a tank. But not fancy enough for Love2D 0.10.0+.
Sometimes they seem to avoid the zombies, sometimes they seem to think the zombies are their long-lost lovers. In other words, it looks completely random.
Randomness can sometimes look like intelligence, but not if it is a matter of life and easily avoidable death.

Robin, yeah im now making the people so they actually avoid the zombies, instead of lucky changing its direction so it dogdes a zombies
and yeah i failed at the version thing :_:
Edit : oke the people are now dodging the zombies(they just run the other)
