You are Han Solo Cat. You are currently en-cat-route to the catdeathstar to save princess leia cat. You are nearing your cat destination when all of a cat sudden your onboard computer/OS CAT9000 alerts you of hostles ahead. You aproach with cat caution only to find out that the enemy is none other then the cat-hating race of invaders called the Rainbow-vaders. You cat-hack into their coms and cat realize that they are headed to cat earth. You know you cannot defeat their whole royal fleet, so you call cat3PO or skywalker cat I dont cat know I havent watched catwars in a long time, to go pick up the cat princess and you return to cat earth to protect what little sanctuary cats have left. You decided to protect your cat home as long as catly possible. This will most likley be your last cat mission. :cat salute:
well, I completed cats in space, so the A D keys or the arrows move you, and space bar shoots your (cat) laser. You can mute this awesome public domain classical music by Luigi Boccherini in OPTIONS and see the libraries I used in CREDITS. There is no pausing, and just a hint
cat reinforcements never arrive.
There's possibly a problem with the thread handling in your code.
As for what I used to compress it I used the unix zip command and mv'd it to space cats fixed!.love...
But I updated the link and took out all the threading which addmitingly was the reason I started this project, but it's whatever.
It takes an idiot to do cool things. Thats why they're cool.
Inside the .love file I found another .love file. You can remove this to reduce the file size. There is also a music file double in the .love (the opening)
I like the image of the earth at the bottom. Looks great.
The random star background is a bit uneasy. Maybe you can come up with a method to move the stars continuously.
And last, the players movement is very smooth. That is a bit annoying when it comes to aiming (I always slide past the target).
