Is there any place to find open-source love games?
I learn best from example, and it'd be nice if I could study the way that other people are making games/parts of games.

Any games in the Projects/Demos section are open source I presume. You can view the source code by opening a .love using WinRar or 7zip.
PM me on here or elsewhere if you'd like to discuss porting your game to Nintendo Switch via mazette!

You can check out my game, Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne, on GitHub.

No. Many of them are, but many others are not.Davidobot wrote:Any games in the Projects/Demos section are open source I presume.
You can still read their source and learn from them, but you can't redistribute those games yourself, or copy parts of them. At least not without the owner's permission.
Help us help you: attach a .love.

Feel free to look through Missile Cömmand. It was the first game I made, so the code should be fairly easy to follow. You can get it here ->

Hello forum this is my first post.conroy wrote:You can check out my game, Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne, on GitHub.
I have only joined the forum today but I have been coding in love2D for a week.
Conroy I just want to say how much I love your game and how you inspired me to do more coding, I was absolutely amazed by the quality of your game!
The graphics quality, the sound effects and most of all the amazing code!

The repository https://github.com/YoungNeer/ contains some Love2D games that i have created and in the future you will find more of it
Some of the games are very rich in animations (cause it is the speciality of the guy (the guy writes himself) ) and another plus point is that while most games out there were written in baby inspector - all of his games are written in the latest version 11.2 (mysterious mysteries) so you can play it with castle (just copy the url of the main.lua file from github)
Some glimpses of his "open-games" -
