I draw things from time to time. Most of those things are pixel art. I figured since we have a few others here who do pixel art as well, why not everyone show some of their stuff?
First, a few logos I use for various things. These were all done in MS Paint a while back.
An elaborate idol thing I made, with and without color.
A scarab as proof of concept for a game Taehl and I thought up a few years ago. I later colored it fancy.
An angel. A creepy lady.
A few space armor concepts. The first image was the first draft which evolved into the second image with a regular and upgraded version. After that is a really crappy walk animation sprite sheet.
Another game concept art I never followed up on.
Some walk animations, these are passable but not fantastic.
Last but not least, a bunch of stuff I really have no category for.

Not always. Maybe Dropbox sees too many loads at once as a DDOS and blocks the loading of the images or something?nevon wrote:All the images are broken.

Digging these up I realize how much wasted effort I've put into dead projects.
Re: Pixel Art! (Warning: Image Heavy)
I wouldn't call it wasted effort, everything you do lends toward teaching yourself. I must have 5 or 6 unfinished LOVE projects in the past year. When I started I had no idea how to program at all really and now I have quite a firm grasp on the basics.
Re: Pixel Art! (Warning: Image Heavy)
Yeah, I understand that. That was sort of a bad way to put it. It's just easy to find old stuff you haven't thought about in forever and remember how much time, effort, and passion you put into it only for it to be sent to the dark depths of your hard drive when you realize how over-ambitious you were being.Ensayia wrote:I wouldn't call it wasted effort, everything you do lends toward teaching yourself.
