LÖVE

Hey, I am now just picking up LOVE2D, and beginning to get serious with LUA. So I was wondering that would be a good place to start here?
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

The wiki has a great page called Getting Started. See also the "Next steps" section, which links to some tutorials you might find useful.

If you want more, you can browse the forum for games, and read their source (if you don't know this already, a .love is just a renamed .zip, so the source is always included).

Welcome . I'd start by reading the wiki and making a couple simple programs, such as a "Hello World" and key inputs.

Snake seems to be a popular game for beginners. It's simple and the concept can be expanded upon once you've got it working.
