I want to join. I would like to use love2d even though its probably outclassed by the likes of Unity3d. I am okay at coding. Would like to join a team with one more programmer and more artists. I don't think I have time to be "lead programmer" though.

Can you explain how this works? Is there a 'start working on your project'-date? Will a topic have to be followed? (The site provides this information not.)
Do you have an idea for a game?
I once was in a game contest and
documented it.

The "start project date" is today, december 1st, but the last day to join the contest is mid-january. This contest goes for 3 months. Near the end of the contest the public votes the score the game receives in various categories including gameplay, graphics, music, etc. There is no specific topic for this contest this year. (although I think there was one last year).
I would probably just create some MMO clone if no one in my team has a better idea. I am not in a team atm though. Asking for team members here who has better artistic and creative talents than I do.

MOO as in master of orion; It'll be easy.

again, portfolio? moo isn't exactly an easy game to clone, anyways.
I'm willing to score a soundtrack if I have time and interest during those months:
some examples of what I do. I've quite a bit of experience working with the XM/IT files as well, if mp3s or oggs aren't your cup of tea.
coding-wise... I'd rather not be involved. or if I am, I'm not willing to be the main programmer.

Ooooh. You said Moo!
Moo! Moo!
Well, if you like my style (
examples 1,
examples 2), I'd löve to do some planets and buildings (and space ships? [and characters?!]).
I did most of the gfx for
Lalalove (excluding some icons). See a svg of most images in the game
here.
I can't code.
PS: I think the design would have to be a strong reduction of Master of Orion to make it a realistic task
PPS: cag: yay for mods!

What's the status?
Anyone else interested in making a minimal Master of Orion LOVE game?
Or any other game, where he would do lead programming with one programmer and two artists?
Anyone got game design suggestions?

i kinda am ... but totally unqulified for a project at this stage of my love development
i suck at sprites in general
i barley function as a love scripter
and im having enough trouble coming up with a game idea of my own
i can mesh together UI's title screens and background stuff
and i could help out with the logic flow ...
dunno
