Hi there!
After an awesome
contest, it is time to vote!
Every user in the forum has one vote. The winner will be the explosion that receives most votes (votes will not grouped by author). The voting will be closed in 1 week.
The winner will get ...
an awesome, awesome personalized status on the forum!
Let the votes begin!

Well, this contest is over, and we have a clear winner!
Thael, let me be the first one to congratulate you!
Your explosion was the awesomest and you have now won the right of having your own custom forum title. Reclaim it!
(by that, I mean send a PM to thelinx with your preferences. When you have your new status, feel free to post here and brag about it)
Thanks to all the participants and those who posted on the forum. This was the first ever contest that I organized... and I had a lot of fun! Also, thanks to the Löve guys for providing a prize.
Regards!

... I guess the "h" in my name got bored of its traditional position between the "e" and the "l"?
I'll need to think about what title I want. That was a great little competition. I think there should be another (with a different goal, of course), sometime.

Congrats, Taehl, your entry really was awesome.
More contests would be an excellent idea, I think. Speaking of which, is there some kind of badge module (think
OGA, for example) or something for phpBB that can be installed, for the price? I mean, custom forum titles will only get us so far.

Especially if someone wins one twice...

How do I run Taehl's entry? LÖVE 0.7.0 on OSX 10.6.6 doesn't load a game from it. Using the normal zip utility produces a .zip.cpgz file, which in turn produces a .zip file. The command line zip command also chokes on it.
Code: Select all
dripping:explosions robert$ unzip explosions.love
Archive: explosions.love
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of explosions.love or
explosions.love.zip, and cannot find explosions.love.ZIP, period.

I believe he used 7zip to compress the .love file (which is supported and a-okay!). You'll need to extract it with a 7zip program.
