Nice work (i love fun vectorial art style) but you fouled me! I thought that was vector draw (lines, circles etc!) but are after all animated png's! Exported from flash? Super-Bonga-Tux-Power!!!

Unfortunly my sweet and brief adventure with Inkscape is over. I'm afraid i had to give up from some free-source creative apps like Inkscape or Gimp in Mac. Inkscape non-native Cocoa APP is simple horrible. X11 don't deal well with some demanding graphs apps. Awful screen refreshes and slow. Made me prefer and wish instead the hard times of Corel 5 in my low-powered pc with Win 3.1 (and a lot of buffer disc-swapping). ;D

And your ORIGINAL Penguin seems so nice and cute that didn't deserve be converted to raster. BTW I saw too ur DA portfolio, your retro's Frontal Racer should rock in Love!

Though the spirit of the proverb has been expressed previously, the modern saying appeared first in James Howell's Proverbs in English, Italian, French and Spanish (1659), and was included in later collections of proverbs.

Some writers have added a second part to the proverb, as in Harry and Lucy Concluded (1825) by the Irish novelist Maria Edgeworth:
