hey!!
im currently trying to try to learn this engine (along with .lua which i already have some small experience with)
hopefully ill be able to pick up lua fairly easily,
atm im learning the audio handles, aswell as the math invloved in .lua and the physics system (Sloooooooowly)
id actually like to ask if theres a tutorial repository, other than the wikumentation, cause at the moment im learning using the code of others and this,
hoping to be able to create and show some work soon ..StoneCrow
BTW. im "LÖVE-ing" the NSFW names of the programs here too,

If you're just getting started with game development, Lua and Löve, you might not want to start off with the physics module. There are a lot of things you can do without ever even touching the physics module. That might be easier to start with.
As for tutorials, as far as I know there are just the ones here, and there are no guarantees that those are up-to-date. I'd suggest simply picking a super simple project to get started with, and just learning by doing. Löve is for the most part a very easy framework to use, so hopefully you'll pick it up in no-time.
Oh, and if you get stuck or need help with something, you should really join us on IRC. #loveclub on freenode.net.

Absolutely. The lovers and love-devs are friendly, helpful and quick to reply. There is hardly a problem that goes unsolved there.nevon wrote:Oh, and if you get stuck or need help with something, you should really join us on IRC. #loveclub on freenode.net.
And starting with your own simple physics system is usually simpler than using love.physics, which is a wrapper around Box2D. It is also probably the least LÖVE-ly of all the love modules.
Help us help you: attach a .love.
