You are also one of the members of sockmunkee and the registered frontmen of Bow Quest Adventure in Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=93008711) which you omitted for some unknown strange reason or for being too modest. I would say that mention you already made a couple of games should be highlighted when doing this kind of requests. Don't be shy, if you have work made in actual games just mention it right away. You draw that way much more attention and credibility.
Another small advice. Present a portfolio with a lot of personal home-made photos of knives, rifles and guns never makes a good portfolio (sorry but it's hard to ignore all that un-art related stuff). Better think first that not all users here are from countries have an arms open policy as the american one. Better do instead another "cleaned" account?
Spite of not interested in doing team work atm I would wish good luck for your Sockmunkee/solo projects.
Hahah yeah, all the guns + knives stuff should be cleared out, but I like I said I need to make a portfolio
Anyway, I've worked on a couple things, such as Bow Quest Adventure Hero and I did the Mario sprites for Mari0. I've worked on a bunch of other small things but nothing else as credible as those two.
Nah, from what I can see the guns + knives were being used as reference material, and who's to say they're even yours?
What kind of style were you looking at for this game? Side-scrolling? Open-world? (don't want to be too pesky, but I'm just interested.)

Na, haha their mine (but do make good reference!) I'm thinking like legend of Zelda top down style view, rpg-shooter with really light-hearted joking around in it. Nothing too dark, something just enjoyable to play. Probably some sort of open world though. (also, you're not pesky! )
