I was thinking it may be a good idea to split the projects and demos forum into two forums: libraries and games. It could make the forum(s) much easier to explore.
Just a thought~
Don't hurt me ._.

Re: Split Projects and Demos Forum?
This has been discussed before.
Dividing is kind of difficult. Where do you draw the line? If a library comes with a demo, should the demo be on a different forum? What about posts about "I'm making this game, here's where I am so far"-kind of posts? Should we split the Games forum into "Complete" and "In progress"?
Regarding libs vs the rest: What I do now is signalling any library post with [library] on its title. I confess I didn't bother to go through my old library posts updating those, though.

When I write def I mean function.
Re: Split Projects and Demos Forum?
Well, if a demo is showcasing a library, then I'd say put it in a library subforum. If a demo is showcasing a WIP game, then games. c:
Game demos vs finished games: I think they could stay in the same sub forum, and maybe tag a post with [WIP] or [COMPLETED]. My biggest complaint really is that it's hard to distinguish between libraries and games sometimes, so devs looking for a new tool to play with may not want to sift through a bunch of games trying to see what is available., and gamers may not care too much about dev tools.

I also appreciate to seperate libraries+tools+code snips from games.

Hmmm, I should probably do that, at least for Ammo and ammo-debug.kikito wrote:Regarding libs vs the rest: What I do now is signalling any library post with [library] on its title. I confess I didn't bother to go through my old library posts updating those, though.
