Anyone know of any relatively small, fun game development forums where I can bounce ideas off of people and stuff? I've been looking at PixelProspector's list of game development forums, and for the most part they're quite big and lack general discussion sections, which is a sign to me that they're all about business and you'll never really get to know anyone there.

I like small-ish forums like this. Anyone know of some good ones (aka not TIGSource)?

How you consider small a forum with +10k users?

Total members 13128

Most of them are probably spambots

But yeah, this forum is pretty small if you look at the number of real humans actually posting regularly

Yep, issue discussed here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2485. Only making a ironic joke about the fact.

Probably of the 13k users only 3k are real (more or less the number after 1st great purge as I remember). And great part of that human users tested LOVE, made some questions and later followed their life. Probably about 500-1000 still follow but a lot less still interact in forum.

I'd try something music related (Play!) or a tower defense (I'm gonna make it... sooner or later)

Why not create a Topic for this purpose - to post ideas/concepts to inspire the others out there? I have quite a few myself and I probably won't be able to develop not even a third of them...
