Astoroid - Space Shooter [WIP]

Hi.This is my first game made in löve, we are a team of two people, i'm programming and my friend is doing the graphics.

It's a really simple space shooter, you have an asteroid to defend, other ships are coming for it.

The window is larger than my monitor, I'm using a 1280*1024

Couldn't you make the game start in a lower resolution, and then the people who have bigger monitors can enlarge it?

That's not bad at all. For a first game, good job.
Misses some sounds, gunshots, though. And some screenshakes, also...

lol. That's the first time I see love.load coming after love.draw... It doesn't matter at all, cause thy are callbacks, but ew...

Are you spanish ?

EDIT : You should definitely start with a lower resolution (like 800x600), and let the people choose what fits to their needs later on.

Yeah, there's plenty of stuff missing, i'm not giving much priority to the sound now, but i really like that screenshake idea.

I'm Brazilian, that language i use in some variable names is portuguese(i hope you aren't asking this because i wrote something wrong)

I changed the default resolution to 800x600 as the other guy sugested

About love.load above love.draw... lol. never went trough my head

I can't say those were intense development months but the game is still progressing.I disabled the campaign mode because it is all in portuguese, will translate it when i have some time.

Oh darn, I was mentally developing this exact same idea for a while now, but now I've seen this I guess there's no need - what you've got here is great!
A few things though:

- Are you going to limit the speed at which you can rotate around the planet?
- Would you consider a more structured wave style, as in Space Invaders (what I was originally planning)
- With space invaders style, would there be shields (physical obstacles for the enemy)?

I'm afraid I can't comment much on the code, but what is the AST percentage for? Enemies just seem to bounce off the asteroid.
