I am making a lot of progress on my current game 'Bow Quest Adventure Hero' ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN5WVRmW ... el&list=UL ) and we are looking into a lot of the neccesaties of selling a game.

I stumbled across something that has been an obstacle in the past. A business license.

We have looked at where to get one, but none of them fit a game developer, or and indiependant artist or anything along those lines. We have only looked at this website http://www.sba.gov/Licenses-and-Permits . What should we do? We are pretty sure we NEED a business license to sell anything.

Weren't you, like, very young? (If not, I'm sorry and you can ignore most of this.)

Because then it might not even be possible to get a business license (I don't know, never lived in the US.)

Also, it's probably best to get a business license if you're actually making a decent amount of money, because you might not get as far as needing such a thing.

Thirdly, I would advise you to get a responsible and knowledgeable adult, like a parent or a teacher, who can help you with things like that. Preferably someone who has experience with starting and operating a small business.

Wow I never even thought of that. Thank you! I almost forgot that I can probably find a loophole through everything, my father owns a business called Quango ( http://quangoinc.com/ ) and I never even thought of asking him. Thanks! I'm sure he'll know a thing or two about business lisence's.
