Re: Survey: Do You Support Framebuffers and/or Non-Po2 [RERU
Have you tried updating your drivers? The only thing that changed about framebuffers/canvases between 0.7.2 and 0.8.0 is that they now require the EXT_packed_depth_stencil extension I think. The Intel GMA X3100 definitely has support for that extension in OSX, so there's a possibility it also has support in windows with newer drivers.

Driver is up to date.
The excellent GLview utility says the only OpenGL 3.0 feature my card supports is GL_ARB_framebuffer_object via the older GL_EXT_framebuffer_object extension. And from reading the bottom of this I get the feeling my card might be lying about implementing the newer ARB completely.

I'm pretty sure Apple has some sort of GL emulation layer using LLVM that implements missing extensions. So this same card might produce different results under OS X.slime wrote: The Intel GMA X3100 definitely has support for that extension in OSX, so there's a possibility it also has support in windows with newer drivers.

ALL RIGHT! My baby is still in the game!pk wrote:Here's a real simple test using the new love.graphics.isSupported function:
My new results are:
Pass: NPOT
Fail: Canvas
Fail: PixelEffects
Pass: NPOT
Pass: Canvas
Pass: PixelEffects
However is very strange in 0.7.2 test fail all the times creating the max size test.

My machine supports Framebuffers, Non-Po2 Framebuffers and Non-Po2 Images.
Machine:
Dell XPS15 laptop
4GB RAM
Intel i7 Q740 1.73GHz
Nvidia GeForce 435M 1GB

Nvidia Quadro NVS 285:
- Framebuffers
- Non-PO2 framebuffers
- Non-PO2 images
- Framebuffers up to 4096 x 4096
- PO3 Framebuffers up to 6561 x 6561
- Nothing

I freeze after spacebar like a few others.
Lenovo B570
4 gigs ram
Intel i3
Meh I forget the rest, the main thing is though I don't have a graphics card so that's probably why I don't support buffers.

I feel so stupid right now... I thought I supported npot images, but I ran the test with LOVE 0.8.0...
I don't support anything
I don't support anything

Re: Survey: Do You Support Framebuffers and/or Non-Po2 [RERU
Wait is this supposed to be run on 0.7.2 or 0.8.0? I get everything on 0.7.2 with framebuffers at 8192 x 8192 and pos3 framebuffers at 6561 x 6561
Re: Survey: Do You Support Framebuffers and/or Non-Po2 [RERU
LOVE 0.8.0 autopads npot images, so everyone can see them, and framebuffers are named canvases, so the test doesn't know you support them

So I do support framebuffers?
