Hey hey!

I'm working on Steam Workshop integration now, in case anyone would like to play around and make some levels I made a minimal example that should help! (It might also work with the demo, but havent updated the demo in a while because I was a little lazy...)
I'll write some documentation soon!

If anyone is interested and comes up with something nice, I would love to see it :)

Hey!

I showed quadrant at BitSummit in Kyoto last weekend using a custom made controller!
(This box: https://twitter.com/undefdev/status/611636523822391296)

People in Japan seem to be way more into it than in the west! :)

That's a pretty cool controller! I don't know how I missed this post earlier, but congrats!

Thanks!
The controller is actually really easy to build, and there's even a raspberry pi 2 in there that boots into the game!

Hey lovely people!
I just added Steam workshop support to quadrant!

That way people can easily share levels they made themselves.

Technically it's also possible to run any löve game as a quadrant level, so you could also just submit entirely different games as "total conversions", but it's not as easy as making a level.

So it is kind of like a console? As in you can plug the controller to a screen and play :D?

Either way it is very cool!

Pretty much!
Here's a video someone made when I showed it at BitSummit! :)
They loved those buttons in Japan.

hey undef,

a console for this kind of game is very cool.

It should also be a gameboy game ;-).

Do you bring your game+console to next Talk&Play (berlin, @wooga, 26.august)?

cheers
