I'm liking what I see, although the coloring of those flowers is a bit sinister, for being flowers. It's probably a genetics issue.

Currently the image (a branch, a leaf, a flower) is colorized as a whole, and coloring specific pieces differently is a hack. The flowers can have pink centers and be blue, green, or purple because the higher you set the saturation when coloring the original image the more it resists colorization by genes.
For things such as leaves, I color them green and set the saturation much higher than I would a flower. This makes it so that leaves have a green bias when hit by the colorizer, and don't turn funky neon colors or non-leafy colors very often.
The current flower has a high saturation pink center and low saturation gray on the petals. This forces the center to stay a pink (or very close to pink) color while an assortment of colors can be achieved on the petals.
I hope this explains it a bit, I know it's confusing.

What are your system specs, zac352? I have some options* in mind which will help performance, but want to know if I should focus on trying whether to save CPU or GPU time...
*Currently: Disable double-draws for growing plants (potentially cuts down on up to a few thousands color/draws), and calculate wind per tree (instead of per part) (will give the wind less fidelity, but take far, far fewer trig calculations). And, of course, resolution.

As Taehl has asked, can you please provide your system specs? System spec data will be absolutely invaluable to optimizing the game to run best on all computers, and to set user options!

The demo won't work for some reason. At all. I can't even un-zip it. It just won't run.
I just want to see how the branches work. But I can't find the sample code that used to be somewhere on this forum. I had the page open for days then closed it, but now can't find the code. Was it here? Did this thread get edited?
